TEAM VERMONT SNOW SCULPTING!

In January 2014 Team Vermont will be competing in Breckenridge, Co. at the International Snow Sculpting Championships! Brooke Monte, Alex Dostie, Michael Nedell & Adrian Tans will be one of three teams representing the United States in a field of International Squads made up of the best Snow Sculptors in the world! This will mark Team Vermont’s 4th entry into the International Tournament, having previously competed in 2008, 2009 & 2011. Each time Team Vermont has placed in the top third of competition having finished either 5th or 6th in fields of 16 – 18 entries.
There are many hidden costs to competing in such large Tournaments. Team Vermont is not paid to make these sculptures and must travel great distances with hundreds of pounds of tools. On Friday January 10, 2014 there will be a Fundraising Party at Art’s Riot at 400 Pine St. in Burlington’s South End Art’s District at 7pm to help Team Vermont offset some of the costs!
